The port currently has nine terminals, with construction continuing on MSC Cruises' AA /AAA, due for 2024 completion when it will become North America's largest cruise terminal.

Further terminal works and shore power

Miami-Dade County commissioners recently approved a $425m plan for upgrading Terminal G for Royal Caribbean, expanding the parking garage at Terminal G and constructing Berth 10, which will serve Royal Caribbean ships sharing the new MSC terminal. Completion for these works is set for late 2027.

Currently under way is preparation for the initiation of shore power in first quarter 2024, with Cavotec connections to be installed at five terminals, for Royal Caribbean, Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises and Virgin Voyages. Up to three ships will be able to plug in simultaneously.

Dec. 17 lineup

On Dec. 17 the cruise ships in port will include Oasis of the Seas, Grandeur of the Seas, Vision of the Seas, Scarlet Lady, MSC Divina, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Celebration, Norwegian Encore and Insignia.

Dec. 22

The Dec. 22 ships are Oasis of the Seas, Scarlet Lady, Explora I, MSC Magnifica, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Magic, Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Pearl and Sirena.
