Viking opened sales for a 93-day ‘Grand Pacific Explorer’ voyage from Auckland to Vancouver, BC, departing February 13, 2024.

The voyage, to be operated by the 930-passenger Viking Orion, visits 13 countries, with 13 overnights in port and 48 guided tours.

It covers New Zealand and Australia extensively.

Australasia’s 16 ports

After overnighting in Auckland, the 47,800gt Viking Orion will visit Rotorua, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin before crossing the Tasman.

She will then call at Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney (overnight), Newcastle, Brisbane, Airlie Beach, Townsville, Cairns, Thursday Island and Darwin, with another overnight, before heading to Asia, Russia and Alaska.

‘Peace of mind’

MD ANZ Michelle Black said putting this voyage in the marketplace so early will give ‘peace of mind’ to those travellers wanting to book ahead.
