Wilhelmsen Port Services to handle TUI Cruises' Japan calls

Wilhelmsen Port Services signed a two-year agreement with TUI Cruises to handle Japan calls for its Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises brands.

The signing took place Wednesday at Seatrade Cruise Global and was celebrated with a toast.

Three dozen ports across Japan

Wilhelmsen will handle the ship calls at about 36 ports across Japan, according to Joachim Pöhler, managing director/key account manager, Wilhelmsen Port Services.

TUI Cruises appreciates the 'great cooperation and professional services by Wilhelmsen Port Services, not limited to Japan to also in other regions, like the UAE, Jordan and Senegal, for example,' said Marcus Puttich, director destinations, TUI Cruises.
