Vega Project

The Finnish shipyard was tasked in April with the Vega Project for NB 516 (SH Minerva) and NB 517 for completion in 2022. The yard since went on to select ALMACO for the design, procurement and construction of both ships’ passenger and crew cabins, and crew public areas.

‘Scandi-luxe’

Cabins on the 113 mtr, 152-passenger vessels will be designed in ‘Scandi-chic’ style. Fitted with polar ice-class technology, they will cruise Arctic and Antarctic waters, and tropical climes during the shoulder seasons.

‘We are looking forward to starting the actual work at the shipyard and to get this fast-paced project successfully delivered to the owner and its customers,' said Esko Ryyppö, project manager, Vega Project, ALMACO.
