'From our new S.A.L.T. ecosystem, which will enable travelers to delve deeper into destinations through the lens of food and drink, to the enriched public spaces, the enhancements aboard Silver Moon symbolize a refinement of Silversea’s already ultra-luxury cruise experience,' Muckermann said.

The videos were shot at Fincantieri's Ancona yard, where Silver Moon was delivered Oct. 30. Muckermann opens with an introduction to the 596-passenger, 40,700gt ship and the features that discern it from 2017 sister Silver Muse.

S.A.L.T. venues

A key difference, three dedicated S.A.L.T. venues, feature in the second video. Located on Deck 4, they include S.A.L.T. Kitchen, among the largest of the eight restaurants on board and featuring a regional menu that changes with the destination. S.A.L.T. Lab is a test kitchen where travelers can learn about local ingredients and artisanal techniques in workshops, tastings and demonstrations. And S.A.L.T. Bar will feature a large selection of regional wines, spirits and other drinks.

Public spaces

A number of spaces were redesigned, including Dolce Vita lounge, the Connoisseur’s Corner cigar bar, which adds an outdoor area; the Pool Deck, and the Spa and Fitness Center, with an enlarged outdoor space for relaxing or yoga. The third video highlights these, along with the Arts Café, the Panorama Lounge with a redesigned bar, the Observation Lounge, the Venetian Lounge with a 250-square-foot LED screen to enhance shows and lectures.

Suites

Muckermann also shows off highlights of the 298 suites, from the 390-square-foot veranda suites to the top 10 suites — four Owner's Suites, four Grand Suites and two Royal Suites. All offer butler service, an in-suite bar stocked with preferred beverages and in-suite dining available 24 hours a day.

Restaurants

A fifth video is dedicated to Silver Moon's restaurants, including the enlarged and extensively redesigned Atlantide and Asian venue Kaiseki. Atlantide now seats up to 220. Serving fine French cuisine in an elegant atmosphere, Silversea’s signature restaurant, La Dame, is enlarged, too, and now seats 56. Positioned on Deck 8, it offers far-reaching views and the opportunity to dine under the stars. Lalique crafted 11 bespoke crystal panels for La Dame.

Other restaurants include S.A.L.T. Kitchen, La Terrazza, Silver Note with live music, and outdoor spots The Grill and pizzeria Spaccanapoli.
