CRUISE Disney Destinay Grand Hall
A statue of the Black Panther, T’Challa, will be a focal point of Disney Destiny's Wakanda-inspired Grand HallRENDERING: DISNEY CRUISE LINE

This third ship in Disney Cruise Line's 144,000gt Wish series is set to debut on four- and five-night Bahamas/western Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades in November next year. Bookings open this Sept. 12.

The new venues round out the third (and final, for now) consecutive day of reveals.

'The heroes and villains theme of the Disney Destiny provides the perfect platform for us to collaborate with Disney Cruise Line on all-new, Marvel-inspired experiences guests won’t find anywhere else on land or at sea across the multiverse,' said Brian Crosby, executive, Marvel Experiences Development. 'We’re honoring some of our classic heroes like Black Panther and Spider-Man on board, and we’re celebrating the larger-than-life personalities of the Avengers as inspiration for one-of-a-kind venues.'

The Grand Hall

The ship's entrance and central gathering space, the Grand Hall, is inspired by the kingdom of Wakanda in the 'Black Panther' movies with metalwork on the pillars recalling banded armor and stacked jewelry and a monumental chandelier hinting of vibranium, the rare metallic ore found in the fictional nation.

A statue of the Black Panther, T’Challa, king of Wakanda will be a focal point.

With a stage and 360-degree lighting effects, the Grand Hall comes to life during shows and interactive programming with Disney, Marvel and other characters.

Saga and The Sanctum

Just off the Grand Hall on Decks 4 and 5 is Saga, a hub for daytime family activities and adult-exclusive evening entertainment. Interactive shows and events will be staged in this venue that also takes design cues from Wakanda.

DCL's first lounge inspired by Doctor Strange, this centrally located 'entertainment parlor' will contain mystical items and a circular mirror that evokes Doctor Strange's New York Sanctum.

The Sanctum will host a variety of activities and serve an array of cocktails, spirits and coffees.

Destiny tower suite

This Marvel-inspired penthouse, set in the ship's forward funnel, will honor Iron Man’s legacy with a luxurious take on the sleek, industrial designs of Tony Stark. Armor-like materials and mechanical elements will be balanced by soft, inviting finishes.

With nearly 2,000 square feet of living space, the Destiny tower suite will accommodate eight people and have designated areas for eating, sleeping and playing, plus a full kitchen and private ensuite elevator.

Residents of the Destiny tower suite and all concierge-level accommodations will have access to a Concierge Lounge and private sun deck. The lounge will be outfitted with fanciful art pieces that celebrate the Avengers, inspired by the sophisticated styling of their home base in Manhattan.

Worlds of Marvel and Marvel Super Hero Academy

Disney Destiny will also reprise two Marvel experiences from Disney Wish and the upcoming Disney Treasure: the Worlds of Marvel dinner show, starring Rocket and Groot from the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' films, and Marvel Super Hero Academy, part of the Oceaneer Club for ages 3 to 10.

Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots will form Disney Destiny's stern art

Spider-Man on the stern

For the first time a Marvel super hero will be the signature stern character on a DCL ship. The larger-than-life sculpture will showcase Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots, who are making a well-meant, if a bit haphazard, attempt at decorating the filigree.
