The company, which has facilities in Southampton and Belfast, will complete the works when the ship enters Blohm+Voss’s dry dock in Hamburg during May.  The contract will include refurbishment of public spaces and staterooms.

Blu Marine’s managing director, Craig McCoo, said the company was delighted to continue its working relationship with Cunard. ‘Queen Elizabeth is such a renowned ship and so we are naturally very pleased to have been awarded this contract. ‘

Blu Marine has been in operation since 2007 and currently employs 42 people.
