‘We have reimagined the design to highlight a strong connection to the sea – the ship offers new venues, al fresco dining, brand-new restaurants and more outdoor space than any of our ships sailing from the U.S,’ commented Rubén Rodriguez, president, MSC Cruises USA.

Jacques Van Staden, president food and beverage, MSC Cruises USA added, ‘We have taken the dining experience on MSC Seashore to the next level… The goal of our talented in-house culinary team is to create something for every palate and preference, providing a diverse array of outstanding international culinary experiences.’

The vessel contains 12 indoor and six outdoor dining venues overall, and public spaces have been reimagined, with 65% of the ship redesigned to include over 139,000 sq. ft. outdoor space.

Chef’s Court on Deck 8

Five specialty restaurants are situated in a new location on Deck 8, including the ship’s signature steakhouse, Butcher's Cut, which will offer al fresco dining along the waterfront promenade and offer prime cuts, cocktails and other beverages.

Kaito sushi bar, which includes a sushi conveyor belt and authentic Asian cuisine prepared before passengers, will also be located on Deck 8, together with HOLA! Tacos & Cantina - the first in the Seaside generation and the second in the fleet. It will serve Latin American and Mexican-inspired cuisine, as well as street food, tequilas and mescals within an interactive setting.

Also offering an interactive experience is Kaito Teppanyaki, which combines entertainment with dining, with its chefs cooking on an open grill.

Ocean Cay will specialise in Mediterranean-style fish and seafood dishes.

The ship features four main dining areas, including Aurea Bar - an outdoor lounge area in the Top 19 Solarium, which will serve Mediterranean and international specialties, with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus changing daily.

MSC Yacht Club, the largest in MSC Cruises’ fleet to-date, will offer private fine-dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Passengers will be offered an a la carte menu, with chef’s specials also changing daily.

Casual dining

Redesigned to create a marketplace atmosphere, the Marketplace Buffet has three distinct areas, each with a different ambience: Il Mercato, La Piazza and La Trattoria. In addition to its 1,100 indoor seats, the buffet now features a new outdoor dining area as part of the Sky Bar.

Returning favourites include Venchi 1878 Gelato and Venchi 1878 Chocolate and Coffee Bar, Champagne Bar, Shine Bar and Seashore Bar.

Wider selection of bars

The ship will offer passengers a broader variety of bars. The Wine Cellar includes a walk-through wine cellar and oenological tasting experience, while piano lounge and bar, The Uptown Lounge, will feature live music. Like the Chef’s Court Cocktail Bar – located in the new Chef’s Court area at heart of the ship - it will serve a selection of cocktails.

Panoramic sea views are visible from rooftop bar, the Sky Bar, while the Horizon Bar on deck 19 will provide outdoor lounge seating.

Bookings strong

Bookings for MSC Cruises first Seaside EVO ship, set to launch in July and arrive in the US in autumn, are looking robust, with Rodriguez noting, ‘With nearly six months to go before MSC Seashore’s arrival in Miami in November, demand for cruising aboard this new ship continues to grow, and we expect it to accelerate as consumers plan their fall vacations.’
