Riviera Travel will add two ships to its fleet next year: Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose.

Scope of renovation

All 74 cabins on the 140-passenger ship will be renovated, while the La Brasserie restaurant will feature new decor and a fresh design.

Passengers will also benefit from new furniture in the public areas and brand-new carpets will be installed throughout.

The shipyard where the work will be carried out is in Chalon, France.

Enhancing the guest experience

Will Sarson, head of product at Riviera, said, ‘These improvements to our much-loved ship Lord Byron will enhance the overall guest experience. From fresh touches in the cabins to new décor in the restaurant and public spaces, we are looking forward to providing a warm and appealing environment for all guests who sail with us.’

Lord Byron will operate cruises on the Rhône river from April.
