Polyflor has Oasis of the Seas covered

Floor coverings from the Voyager Marine Collection, developed by UK vinyl manufacturer Polyflor, are widely installed in many of the restaurants and crew quarters onboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, debuting in December this year.

Colours and styles of wood and stone effects are the hallmark of the Voyager Collection featuring 16 contemporary plank and tile designs specially developed for front of house marine environments including retail, leisure and public areas.

The Voyager range also includes sheet vinyl and 60 different colours and styles of hardwearing tiles specially designed for ‘back of house’ such as crew quarters, corridors and storage areas. Over 13,000sq mtr of low maintenance Voyager PUR sheet vinyl has been installed in general areas, corridors and stairs, 3,000 sq mtr of timber effect Forest FX are fitted in the crew cabins and vinyl tiles feature in the crew restaurant.

Voyager PUR features a polyurethane reinforcement for protection as well as enabling polish-free maintenance to give life cycle maintenance cost savings of up to 48% as well as saving energy and reducing the use of chemicals, claims Ployflor.

The Voyager range of floor coverings all comply with IMO regulations.
