As a result, five sailings have been canceled -- Nov. 8, 23 and 30 and Dec. 8 and 18 -- with the ship due to resume its schedule on Dec. 28. Two new voyages have been added, on Feb. 2 and 9.

Travel agents and customers on the canceled cruises are being notified, with incentives to rebook on other sailings. Those who do not rebook will get a full refund, and agent commissions are protected.

Agents will also be compensated for rebooking clients on another sailing aboard Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Navigator or Seven Seas Voyager.
