Silversea's classic ships have a vertical distribution style, with suites on every deck in the center and forward parts. Silver Nova's horizontal distribution style concentrates the 364 suites on four decks the entire length of the vessel.

The suites range from 33 square meters/357 square feet to 123 square meters/1,324 square feet.

An innovative structural design brought the superstructure inside the ship so enlarged floor-to-ceiling windows replace exterior walls in select suites, giving more connection with the outside. All suites feature a balcony with a glass balustrade and views from most living spaces.

Refined bathrooms and walk-in closets

The bathrooms have been refined to include a modern oversized mirror, a large vanity with two faucets, a spacious walk-in shower and a lavish bathtub or whirlpool.

The redesigned walk-in closets provide more openness, particularly in the Veranda Suites, and a set of intuitive design details, such as dedicated compartments for personal jewelry.

Seven new categories

With seven new categories, the collection provides greater variety, including new premium aft suites — the first time Silversea has offered these, apart from on Galápagos ship Silver Origin.

The ship is being built in Germany but Silversea said all of the suites will feature Italian craftsmanship. Plus, modern design details, including elegant, soft lighting and headboards with integrated reading lights. Layered and curated, the color palette features a blend of soft and neutral tones, with deeper but subtle accents inspired by the sea and earth.

'It was important to maintain Silversea’s elegant, Italian DNA, with whispered luxury and a consistent brand vision,' longtime Silversea architect Giacomo Mortola of GEM said. 'But with Silver Nova, we had the opportunity to create something that is truly pioneering in the industry. The crowning accomplishment is the Otium Suite, complete with a Jacuzzi on the balcony and 270-degree views, which is among the most luxurious suites at sea.'

Otium Suite

Inspired by Silversea’s new Otium wellness program, the Otium Suite is the largest on Silver Nova and located in the premium aft corner position. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows in all living areas, it unlocks 270-degree views from the inside, while its balcony is the most spacious on board and features a whirlpool.

The total size is 123 square meters/1,324 square feet, including a 40-square-meter/431-square-foot balcony.

Signature Suite

The Signature Suite offers sweeping views from all interior spaces. It includes dining, living and sleeping area and a bathroom with a whirlpool that faces the balcony  with a large window, plus one of the largest balconies onboard.

The Signature Suite measures 65 square meters/700 square feet including a balcony of 16 square meters/172 square feet.

Amenties for both the Otium and Signature suites are custom-made luxury mattresses, two large flat-screen televisions, a sound system with Bluetooth connectivity and an espresso machine.

Other new accommodations include the Master Suite, a smaller version of the Otium Suite, and one of these has a bathroom facing the side of the ship to open the view to the sea, like bathrooms on Silver Origin. And the new Medallion Suite is 1.5 times the width of the standard veranda suite.

All Silver Nova suites will afford enhancements from the Otium program like a balcony experience and a comfort food menu (Silversea style — think lobster and caviar in brioche rolls, gourmet popcorns and other premium bites).
