Spa expansion on AIDAblu

AIDAblu currently under construction at Meyer Werft, will be named next February 9 in the Port of Hamburg. With a length of 252mtr and 32.2mtr beam, AIDAblu is in the same mould as sister ships, AIDAdiva, AIDAbella and AIDAluna, but will have an additional half a deck making her 71,000gt.

AIDAblu will sport an enlarged spa area(+300sq mtr) with exclusive cabins and suites, new restaurants as well as the first-ever brewery on a cruise ship. The interior design combines classical, maritime elegance with a more modern life style. The colour concept is dominated by earthy warm shades of red and yellow combined with elements of dark teak and chrome.

Occupants of the 40 suite spa accommodation will have exclusive extras, such as massage, yoga course and personal consultation through a Spa butler.

Two Spa-Deluxe suites directly over the wing of the bridge are equipped with a Jacuzzi and a Power Plate training machine.
