And 500 of Cunard's most engaged travel partners will get a chance to step aboard during Queen Anne's first month of operations.
As earlier reported, the ship has a Mareel Spa with offerings ranging from cryotherapy treatments to a Himalayan salt sauna and cold room.
Soiree for solo travelers
The Wellness Club will offer a tailor-made program for solo travelers, where, on embarkation night, they'll be able to relax and unwind together at a meet-and-greet event.
And The Pavilion, an open-air oasis on the top deck, features a specially designed glass dome roof that retracts in warmer climes. It will provide a place to get lost in a book or take a dip in the pool by day and meet new friends in the evening.
The multipurpose space, designed by David Collins Studio (of Harrods and Claridge’s fame), weaves together several wellness elements and will encompass the top deck Wellness Studio and the Wellness Café, serving seasonal, nutritious dishes.
Architect Martin Francis, whose engineering supported the iconic Louvre Pyramid in Paris, led a redesign of the glass dome, which will feature a refined arched steel frame to maximise height and light as it stretches up and aft to create the new Wellness Studio.
Capt. Thorhauge leads the tour
The tour was hosted by Capt. Inger Thorhauge, who will be at the helm for Queen Anne’s maiden voyage from Southampton to Lisbon on May 3, 2024.
Opportunities to sail
Cunard will be offering opportunities for up to 500 travel partners from around the world to step aboard during a variety of activations in Queen Anne's first month. The line will host agents on two overnights from Southampton as part of its operational sales drive.
More details about how advisors can take part will be forthcoming.
