VoD's Voyager in Portland for month-long refurbishment

Voyages of Discovery’s Voyager arrived in UK Port of Portland early Wednesday morning to begin the final stage of its refurbishment.

The ship will undertake a month-long refurbishment in port with international contracting company, Mivan, before its maiden voyage to the Caribbean on Dec. 4.

Key new additions to Voyager will include the introduction of an explorer theme to the whole ship, the new Scott’s Lounge and a speciality restaurant, the Explorer Club.
