ALMACO Group continues its globalization by establishing a subsidiary in Hamburg, Germany.

Providing turnkey solutions to the cruise sector, as well as the maritime and offshore markets, ALMACO Group has a long history of operating in Germany and the region is strategically important to the company, notes Björn Stenwall, the new President and CEO of ALMACO Group.

‘Establishing a subsidiary in Germany allows us to serve our German customers locally, faster and in their own language.

ALMACO has several big ongoing projects with newbuilding yards such as Meyer Werft and MV Werften.

For example ALMACO Group is outfitting the cabins and public areas for Dream Cruises’ Global-class pair under construction at MV Werften and debuting in 2021 and 2022.

Ninth subsidiary

‘Germany is the natural choice for our ninth subsidiary,’ commented Stenwall who took up the helm at ALMACO at the beginning of this year having held senior management roles in the Group since 2014.

He has been working in the maritime industry for over 25 years.

ALMACO Group offers a wide product portfolio, including solutions and services for accommodation, catering and laundries and has offices in Brazil, China, Finland, France, Italy, Singapore and US.
