Costa spending €10m on planned maintenance for trio of ships
Three Costa Cruises ships are scheduled to arrive in Genoa for planned maintenance this month. Costa Voyager, Costa neoRiviera and Costa Classica will undergo work at San Giorgio del Porto shipyard.

Costa is investing over €10m in the work which will involve over 100 people, mainly from the contracted suppliers commissioned both locally and beyond.

Costa Voyager will be in the yard from November 7 for about two weeks, and Costa neoRiviera also from today through to November 12; the third ship,  Costa Classica from  November 12 through December 21.

Work will include hull and engine maintenance for Costa Voyager, while Costa Classica’s is routine maintenance involving both the hull and engine sections and the hotel department.

Costa neoRiviera, the former Grand Mistral operated by sister brand Iberocruceros, will undergo hull and engine overhaul, renovations to open decks and interior public areas inside, ahead of her new winter deployment in Dubai.
