Unveiled by MSC Cruises last December during a joint press conference attended by the cruise line’s ceo Gianni Onorato and Fincantieri ceo, Giuseppe Bono, MSC’s Armonia, Sinfonia, Opera and Lirica will be lengthened from 251mtr to 275mtr, increasing passenger capacity from 2,068 to 2,680 per vessel and providing space for more public areas, a new shopping mall, as well as entertainment spaces including an aqua park.
MSC Armonia will enter Fincantieri’s dock in Palermo on August 31, 2014.
