Norwegian Sky refurb adds staterooms

Norwegian Sky refurb adds staterooms
Norwegian Sky’s drydock at Grand Bahama Shipyard enhanced public rooms and accommodations while also adding three new staterooms.

The refurbishments included major updates to 14 suites which received new wallpaper, new marble tiles in the showers and tub and refinishing of woodwork and balcony teak.

All 1,000 seats in the Stardust Theater were reupholstered. The work in Dazzles Bar and Nightclub included refinishing the dance floor, reuphostering the chairs and bar stools, and removing the banquette seating to create more room on the dance floor.

Atrium seating was reupholstered, and new food stations were installed in the Garden Café. The Italian restaurant, I’l Adagio, was refurbished.

The ship has re-entered service on three- and four-day Bahamas itineraries from Miami.
