Online journal follows Coral Princess drydock
Princess Cruises is once again inviting the public to go behind the scenes at a shipyard as Coral Princess undergoes drydock through Oct. 23 at Grand Bahama Shipyard.

The Coral Princess Drydock Journal at www.princess.com shows the daily progress as the ship receives a full exterior and interior makeover, including the addition of signature features The Sanctuary and Movies Under the Stars.

The fourth in this series, this drydock follows those that chronicled work on Golden Princess, Dawn Princess and Sea Princess. The journal can be found on the Coral Princess page in the website’s ‘Ships’ section, and it is being regularly updated throughout the two-week drydock. The photos will also be posted to Princess’ Twitter feed, Facebook page and Flickr photostream.

When Coral Princess emerges from the dock, it will be equipped with The Sanctuary, an adults-only deck retreat with plush lounge chairs, and a Movies Under the Stars poolside screen. Other changes include the installation of new carpet and upholstery and new silicone paint applied to the bottom of the hull.

After the drydock Coral Princess will begin a series of Panama Canal sailings.
