Remodeled Le Champagne highlights Silver Wind update

Silversea Cruises
Le Champagne - transformed with new wine displays, seating layout, flooring, fabrics
A complete makeover of Le Champagne, the only Relais & Châteaux restaurant at sea, highlighted Silver Wind's two-week refurbishment in Palermo, Italy, this month.

Le Champagne was transformed with an upgraded entrance design, the addition of gleaming, backlit wine displays, a redesigned seating layout and new wood flooring, fabrics and window treatments.

The Silversea Cruises' ship's suites, public spaces and dining venues were freshened with stylish new carpets, new upholstery and other soft goods in an overall color palette of warm earth tones. The Bar, in particular, features all new furniture and furnishings in a contrasting color scheme of cooler shades of teal mixed with neutral brown and beige tones.

Other highlights include new tiling and deck furniture in the pool area and a redesigned buffet area in the specialty restaurant La Terrazza.

Rounding out the refurbishment was a reconditioning and polishing of teak decks and woodwork. The ship also underwent thorough maintenance on mechanical and propulsion systems.
