The new-look Riviera will debut in December, with Marina to follow in November 2023.
The 1,210-passenger sister ships were built in 2011 and 2012.
Suites and staterooms
Riviera and Marina's suites and staterooms will be reimagined, with 'no surface untouched.' Custom-crafted furnishings, exotic stone and polished wood finishes, and designer accessories will add elegance and sophistication.
Living and sleeping areas will gain fashionable lighting and sumptuous new furnishings and finishes, from Italian marble to bespoke fabrics in harmonious tones.
Restyled bathrooms will incorporate oversized showers, glittering fixtures and spacious storage.
Details that add convenience include more outlets and USB ports always within reach.
Airy, uplifting public spaces
Riviera and Marina's lounges, bars and dining venues will be restyled to add further elegance and sophistication.
Observation lounge Horizons will be completely reimagined as a lighter, brighter, more luxurious venue.
The Grand Dining Room will be made even grander and more opulent with plush new carpets and buttery leather armchairs.
Alfresco Trattoria
In addition to the indoor-outdoor Terrace Café and the poolside Waves Grill, an outdoor Trattoria will feature an array of wood-fired pizzas, grilled Italian specialties, salads and desserts every evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
The steak house Polo Grill will retain its rich leather chairs and polished wood paneling, while gaining plush new carpeting, new wall coverings and dramatic draperies.
Riviera itineraries
Riviera will first show off its new look Dec. 7 on a 16-day Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Miami. From there, the ship reprises its seven- to 14-day Caribbean sailings from Miami to the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America for one final season before returning to Europe in late March 2023.
Riviera then charts an inaugural season of Far East explorations during later 2023 and early 2024.
Marina's routes
Marina will debut Nov. 13, 2023, on a seven-day cruise from Barcelona to Lisbon. From Lisbon, the ship will head to Miami to begin its annual South America season on Dec. 3.
Details of the 2024 itineraries for the entire Oceania Cruises fleet will be released in the coming weeks.
