The bow-to-stern refurbishment of Seven Seas Voyager has been completed, giving the ship a luxurious new décor and five new production shows for the Constellation Theater.

The 2003-built ship underwent an extensive, 25-day update as part of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ $125m fleetwide refurbishment program, and is now under way on a 23-night Barcelona to Dubai voyage.

A focus of the refurbishment was to impart the same style and attention to detail as on the new Seven Seas Explorer, providing all Regent ships with a consistent look and feel.

'The minute I stepped on the newly refurbished Seven Seas Voyager, I was blown away by the luxurious décor and intricate design details. This ship looks unequivocally better today than the day it was delivered from the shipyard, and exquisitely represents the continued evolution of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brand,' president and ceo Jason Montague said.

He's on board, hosting the line's annual Reunion Cruise.

The Compass Rose restaurant received a new look with grand crystal chandeliers, rich wood accents and celestial blue furnishings. The restaurant also features a new menu that offers so much customization and choice that Regent touts Compass Rose as 'the largest specialty restaurant at sea.'

Chartreuse, the French specialty restaurant that debuted on Seven Seas Explorer, was added to Seven Seas Voyager.

The indoor-outdoor dining spot La Veranda gained a fresh, airy design with light gray flooring and walls that accentuate the natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows. In a major structural change, the buffet is now open to both sides of the restaurant and features a new cook-to-order grill station.

The Pool Grill was equipped with a new infrared barbecue grill so chefs can prepare steaks, chops, lamb and salmon on the open deck.

The Voyager Lounge sports a new design inspired by a modern interpretation of a French cabaret. Large, champagne-colored chandeliers cascade above crimson loveseats along a wall of oversized windows.

The penthouse, concierge and deluxe suites received a new contemporary design that accentuates their spaciousness. Other areas touched during the refurbishment include the reception, Coffee Connection, Connoisseur Lounge, Card Room, boutiques, casino and Canyon Ranch SpaClub.

In addition to the physical enhancements, the ship emerged with new production shows. 'Tuxedo' features a live orchestra and the music of the Rat Pack while also showcasing arrangements of classic songs by contemporary artists like Michael Bublé, Christina Aguilera, Brian Setzer and Harry Connick Jr.

'Lights, Camera, Music!' is a tribute to Hollywood musicals, while 'Broadway in Concert' features songs from shows past and present. 'Vegas! The Show' recreates some of the greatest moments in Las Vegas entertainment and music from the Rat Pack, Elvis, Sonny and Cher and Tina Turner. And 'Dancin’ Fool' highlights jive, salsa, quick step, disco and Broadway-style Fosse.

Seven Seas Voyager's work follows Seven Seas Navigator's upgrade last spring. Rounding out the fleet, Seven Seas Mariner is scheduled for its enhancements in April.
