MSC Cruises to sail from China in early 2024

MSC Cruises will kick off international cruises from the China mainland next year with MSC Bellissima.

The ship will sail to neighbouring countries between March 16 and April 24, 2024 from its homeport of Baoshan Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal, Shanghai.

In May Royal Caribbean International announced plans to begin cruises from Shanghai in April 2024. 

MSC Bellissima will homeport in Taiwan from January 16 as part of its ‘Keelung-Naha’ dual homeport itineraries.

Initial programme

The initial launch for the spring season involves nine sailings, made up of four- and five-night itineraries, to destinations such as Fukuoka, Kagoshima and Sasebo, Japan.

MSC plans to unveil China summer and winter 2024 seasons shortly.
