The itineraries will commence in March 2015, visiting the largest river island in the world and meet the Mishing people that inhabit the region.

Pandaw guests will head into the Assam province’s green hills, plains and forests travelling by boat, jeep and elephant to learn more about the aromatic tea that it is known for.

Other wildlife sightseeing possibilities are single horned rhinos, buffaloes, Indian tigers and river dolphins, as well as the Kaziranga National Park.

The Brahmaputra River also provides a view of  the Himalaya mountains.

In addition to the cruise, Pandaw also offers pre and post stays in five-star hotels in Delhi and Kol-kata, including domestic connecting flights.

Pandaw currently operates cruises in Burma, Vietnam and Cambodia from June to April.
