April 7 reveal

Viking Chairman Torstein Hagen is scheduled to detail the company’s long-anticipated US river program during an April 7 event in New Orleans.

It’s been several years since Hagen disclosed to Seatrade Cruise News that he had a project to bring modern-style vessels to the Mississippi. It has been a more challenging undertaking than envisioned, but now the pieces appear to be in place.

The river reveal follows by several months Viking's big splash in detailing its new expeditions program

Seatrade Cruise News will report from the April 7 launch.
