Production of wearable devices, according to TraceSafe, could support the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) framework for the resumption of cruising, which calls for adherance to social distancing requirements and close contact monitoring of crew members and passengers.

‘We are closely monitoring CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of passengers, crew and various requirements that national jurisdictions require - and as cruise passengers embark and disembark around the globe,’ commented Gordon Zeilstra, chief revenue officer, TraceSafe.

‘There are few industries that require the degree of specialization, technology excellence, service and global experience that the cruise industry demands and that’s why we’re privileged to be working alongside...Tritan.’

SeaCare

Tritan Software claims to support 95% of cruise lines, including Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Carribean International, and Viking Ocean Cruises. TraceSafe's contact tracing software and wearables are currently utilised in the company's health management platform, SeaCare - a complete software solution for global medical operations in the maritime industry.

TraceSafe has enhanced privacy software, with security and encryption that meet HIPAA and GDPR requirements.

TraceSafe Strategic Cruise Advisory Council
