AIDAcosma in the Gulf, two ships in Asia, three in Caribbean for AIDA's winter 2023/24

AIDA Cruises' new AIDAcosma will offer two different Arabian Gulf itineraries, while two ships will sail Asia and three the Caribbean during winter 2023/24.

Sailing from Dubai or Abu Dhabi

AIDAcosma's seven-day cruises will depart from Dubai or Abu Dhabi to Muscat in Oman or to beach destination Sir Bani Yas, with Doha, Qatar included on both itineraries. There are three possible embarkation days: Friday and Saturday in Dubai and Sunday in Abu Dhabi.

Indian Ocean/Asia

AIDAbella and AIDAblu will be positioned in the Indian Ocean and Asia. AIDAblu's Indian Ocean voyages will call at Mauritius, Seychelles, La Reunión and Madagascar. AIDAbella sets course for destinations in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore.

In addition, three new 21-day 'Selection' voyages from Laem Chabang (Bangkok) are available: the Christmas and New Year's Eve cruise highlights Vietnam with access to Hue, Halong Bay or the Mekong Delta as part of an excursion. Besides Taiwan and the Philippines, passengers will experience the new year in Hong Kong.

In January 2024, AIDAbella will sail through Indonesia with visits to Surabaya, Lombok, Bali and Java, as well as Vietnam and Cambodia. In March 2024, the ship will sail from Shanghai to Singapore over Easter in 21 days. In addition to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Vietnam, this cruise will call at five ports in Japan for the first time, including three new AIDA ports: Tokyo, Nagasaki and Kochi.

Caribbean

AIDAdiva, AIDAluna and AIDAperla are scheduled for the Caribbean. Destinations include the A-B-C islands, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico. AIDAdiva will offer alternating routes to Mexico and Belize as well as the Lesser Antilles. For the first time, embarkation will be possible at three ports: La Romana, Montego Bay and Martinique's Fort-de-France.

Travelers who want to avoid long flights may be interested in AIDAmar's 'Great Winter Break Caribbean' itinerary, a 43-day voyage from Hamburg to the Caribbean and back. New Year' s Eve will be spent at Bermuda.

Southern Africa

The long-haul winter program is rounded off with voyages to southern Africa, with two ships for the first time. AIDAaura and AIDAvita will operate 14-day 'Selection' voyages to South Africa and Namibia. AIDAvita also offers a 12-day Africa cruise with Mozambique as a highlight.

Canary Islands/Mediterranean

On the medium-haul route, AIDA Cruises offers sun-seekers a variety of cruises around the Canary Islands and to Madeira as well as the Azores in winter 2023/2024.

Rome, Florence or Barcelona can be experienced in the winter months without the hustle and bustle of the high season. AIDAprima will sail to the Mediterranean from November 2023 to February 2024.

World cruise and 'Far North'

AIDAsol will set off on its second world cruise in October 2023.

From February 2024, three 'Winter in the Far North' voyages to see the northern lights are in store from Hamburg.
