AIDAluna is scheduled to begin sailing from Kiel on Sept. 5, becoming the seventh ship in the AIDA Cruises fleet to resume service.

By the end of the year AIDA plans to have 10 ships in operation, including the new AIDAcosma, scheduled for delivery in December.

Three-/four-day program

AIDAluna's alternating three- and four-day cruises from Kiel will be available through Oct. 14.

Three-day cruises start with a sea day then call at Gothenburg, Sweden, while four-day cruises also start with a sea day including scenic cruising past the island of Gotland, then a call at Gdynia, Poland.

AIDA began sailing from Kiel in May with AIDAprima, which is currently embarking every Saturday for Gothenburg, Visby (Gotland) and Stockholm, until Oct. 23.
