Alaska ship Norwegian Sun expected to resume service July 14

Norwegian Sun's next scheduled cruise would be July 14
Norwegian Sun is expected to resume cruising July 14 after being out of service since making contact with a growler — a small iceberg — near Alaska's Hubbard Glacier in late June.

The Seattle-based ship's June 30 and July 5 cruises were canceled

July 14 resumption

A Norwegian Cruise Line spokesperson said 'no further cancellations are set at this time' and the ship is scheduled for a July 14 return.

AIS data show Norwegian Sun currently en route to Victoria, BC, with arrival expected today. Norwegian Sun had departed Seatte on Wednesday after several days' stay in port.
