Passengers will be able to experience the Amsterdam Light Festival taking place from November 27 until January 18. It is the third edition of this winter party when buildings across the historic center of Amsterdam become the backdrop for more than 50 days of this international light festival, noted Dick de Graaff, commercial manager at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam.

Sculptures, light projections and installations by international contemporary artists adorn the city. A light trail, Illuminade, runs through the central Amsterdam and along the canals.

The theme of the third festival is 'A Bright City,' challenging artists to bring the metropolis to life and provide an unexpected experience, de Graaff said.
