Bruce Krumrine, vp shore excursions for Princess Cruises, said it is part of the company’s plans for passengers to engage more deeply with the destinations they visit.

‘We are excited to work with Princess Cruises on this important opportunity to provide visitors to Australia with in-depth information and truly authentic experiences to make their visits memorable,’ ACA ceo Jill Abel said.

Videos and helpful materials including maps will be provided to passengers and small group special interest tours will be led by local experts.

The programme, which will roll out mid-year, will cover Sydney, Airlie Beach, Cairns, Port Douglas, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Darwin, Perth, Broome, Geraldton and Albany.
