'Beautiful weather and the scenic location of Cochem ‎made for a picture-perfect day,' Newell said.  

The godmother was accompanied by Scenic founder and chairman Glen Moroney, Cochem Mayor Wolfgang Lambertz and several other dignitaries.

Newell is the owner and president of Travel Best Bets and co-hosts the travel series 'Operation: Vacation,' currently airing in the US and Canada on Travel + Escape.
