Sydney sailings canceled to Feb. 8

The line also canceled five cruises planned to operate on Carnival Splendor from Sydney, Australia, from Jan. 16 - Feb. 8.

Following the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's decision to extend its no-sail order through October, Carnival canceled all but PortMiami and Port Canaveral cruises for the rest of the year. It has now determined that November operations will not be feasible.

Miami and Port Canaveral will be restart ports

Carnival said it continues to work on protocols and procedures that would allow for a gradual, phased-in resumption and has designated Miami and Port Canaveral as the first two homeports for embarkations.

Cruises currently scheduled for December from those two homeports remain in place for the time being. However, travelers booked on sailings in December from Miami and Port Canaveral still have the ability to voluntarily cancel their reservation and receive the same offer that all other impacted guests are receiving. This includes a combination future cruise credit and on-board credit or a full refund.
