Carnival Cruise Line Australia further extends pause for Carnival Splendor

The 3,012-passenger Carnival Splendor has been paused until March
In May Carnival Cruise Line cancelled Carnival Splendor’s cruises from Australia until August 31 and in August the suspension was extended to December 2.

Now the company has paused the operations of Carnival Splendor, permanently home-ported in Sydney in December 2019, until March 2.

Carnival Spirit

As earlier reported, sailings of Carnival Spirit, which has been home-ported Down Under since October 2012, are paused until June.

On-board bonuses

Carnival Splendor’s passengers will receive a 100% refund or future cruise credit with on-board bonuses.

‘Carnival Cruise Line appreciates the understanding and support of our guests and travel agent partners and looks forward to warmly welcoming our guests back on board as soon as possible,’ a company statement said.
