This positions Celebrity Cruises' second Edge-class vessel for a season of Caribbean sailings, whenever US officials give the OK for passenger service to resume.
Celebrity Apex crossed the Atlantic following 'mini [sea] trials' between Belle-Ile and Noirmoutier off the coast of Saint-Nazaire. Earlier, the ship had paid a visit to Southampton.
According to the Port Everglades schedule, Celebrity Apex is to head out on Wednesday, bound for CocoCay in the Bahamas.
