The seven-night Dawes Glacier itinerary includes stops at Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway.

Celebrity is touting the ship's outward-facing design as offering an 'unmatched immersive experience' amid Alaska's glaciers with the Magic Carpet enabling a new vantage point and the infinite veranda staterooms with their drop-down windows erasing the boundaries between inside and outside.

Celebrity Edge will sail roundtrip Seattle and open jaw between Vancouver, BC and Seattle on six- and seven-night journeys. Alaska's Endicott Arm and Victoria, BC are other destinations visited.

Community impact

As part of Royal Caribbean Group, Celebrity Cruises engages port communities across Alaska including initiatives like the recent grand opening of the nearly two-mile Ketchikan Salmon Walk in partnership with Tongass Historical Museum.

Local sourcing includes partnerships with Skagway Spirits, Seafood Producers Cooperative and Alaska Specialty Seafood.

A commitment to Sitka Sound Science Center involves the Scientists in the Schools program where local scientists work with students in K-12 classrooms. The program benefited 960 students from nine schools last year with Royal Caribbean Group's support.
