The ship will sail a series of six- to eight-night itineraries after 15 months inactive.

‘Our much-anticipated summer season marks a real vote of confidence in the UK cruise industry and we can’t thank our travel partners enough for all the support they’ve shown us,’ remarked Jo Rzymowska, VP and MD, EMA, Celebrity Cruises.

Fourth Celebrity Cruises ship to undergo modernisation

The vessel is the fourth Celebrity Cruises vessel to be enhanced, as part of fleet-wide upgrades and reimagined spaces costing the line $500m in total.

Features on board now include an open air hideaway, The Retreat, available exclusively to suite passengers, which includes a private sundeck and lounge designed by British designer Kelly Hoppen CBE.

New cardio machines plus weight equipment by Technogym are located in the overhauled Fitness Centre.

Entertainment programme on board UK sailings

Live performances by illusionist Matt McGurk, as well as by The Barricade Boys and The Beatles Celebration will take place on board.

Inspirational talks will be provided by Penny Mallory, the world’s first female World Rally Car driver for Ford and Derek Redmond, a former British athlete.

Health and safety

The vessel will sail with passengers aged 18 years and above who are fully vaccinated; they will be required to show proof of a negative PCR test taken up to or within three days of sailing.

Passengers aged 24 months to 17 years old will be expected to take an antigen test at the terminal prior to embarkation. All crew members are vaccinated.

VIP guests onboard the first sailing include winners from Celebrity Cruises' Giving Back To Heroes competition - a scheme offering complimentary rooms to the UK’s NHS Blue Light Card holders for their work throughout the pandemic.
