Johnson, who has been with CLIA for the last four months as a contractor, brings extensive experience in association and corporate leadership roles. Most recently, she was svp marketing and communications at Meetings Professional International, where she managed a department of 14 staff and built a unified brand by integrating consistent messages across all platforms, including a revamped member magazine and a robust social media strategy.

'The experience that Caroline brings with her to this new role is an ideal fit for CLIA,' said Cindy D'Aoust, president and ceo.

Johnson will oversee the membership department, including the member services, professional development, events, membership and trade marketing teams. She will be responsible for all marketing and communications directed towards CLIA's travel agency and agent members.
