Swan Hellenic has joined CLIA as one of its European Regional Cruise Lines to build its profile across Europe.

‘We are delighted to join hands with so many distinguished names in cruising, and to express in this way our confidence in the industry’s ability to constantly innovate and create special travel experiences even in the most challenging times’, commented Andrea Zito, ceo, Swan Hellenic.

Andy Harmer, director, CLIA UK & Ireland Director said the Association ‘look forward to supporting the team as they develop and build relationships with trade across Europe.’

CLIA is hosting a live webinar with Harmer, ‘New To CLIA’, on October 7.

Swan Hellenic relaunch

Swan Hellenic is in the process of relaunching, with two new 152-berth expedition ships – SH Minerva and provisionally Vega Class – currently under construction in Helsinki. They are scheduled to launch in November 2021 and April 2022, respectively.

Earlier this year, Zito said the expedition cruise line is 'back and we’re bigger and bolder than ever'; it recently partnered with Tam Wing Kun Holdings to increase its presence in Asia.
