CMV adds fly-cruises to Med on the Azores
Cruise and Maritime Voyages has added a series of Mediterranean fly-cruises.
Following the announcement earlier this month that the company has acquired another ship Magellan, this increase in fleet size has enabled it to expand the variety of cruises offered.
Starting in September five fly-cruises on Azores will be available as part of a Buy One Get One Free –deal for bookings made before December 12, 2014 from £1,369 for two sharing people (£685pp).
The first departure of the 16,144gt Portuguese registered Azores carrying 550 guests leaves from Bristol – Avonmouth September 8, cruising south on a nine night voyage in order to position Azores in the Med.
From Bristol the ship calls in La Coruña in Spain, Leixoes (Oporto) and Lisbon on the way to Gibraltar. Next stop is Malaga before arriving in Genoa.
The following fly-cruise begins with a flight from the UK to join the ship in Genoa on September 17, for an 11 night voyage calling into Civitavecchia with an optional excursion to Rome, Santorini, Mykonos, and Kusadasi (for Ephesus). Next up is Samos, then Piraeus for Athens and Katakolon.
Azores thencalls into Corfu and Korcula (Croatia) before arriving in Venice for an overnight on board before flying back. Prices start at £1,999pp for two people (£999pp).
This cruise itinerary is repeated on October 9 and on September 28. On October 20 it operates in reverse starting in Venice and ending in Genoa. Same prices as above.
