Instead, the line aims to resume sailing Jan. 31 from Italy with Costa Deliziosa which will now offer the all-Italy program originally planned for Costa Smeralda, with mini-cruises of three and four days, in addition to seven days.

As a result, Costa Smeralda service will pause for a few weeks. Costa said it will communicate new plans for the ship shortly.
