During her first year, the 113,561gt ship will make 78 visits to 21 ports — a record for any Princess ship — and will contribute A$120m to the national economy.

Longest world cruise ex-Australia

On June 4, 2025 she will depart Sydney on the longest world cruise ever made from Australia — a 113-night round voyage visiting Africa, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and South America.

Three ships

Over the 2024/25 Australian cruise season, Crown Princess will be joined by Diamond Princess and Royal Princess.

The three ships will make 117 departures between October 2024 to September 2025.

They will sail from seven ports — Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Hobart and Auckland.

Committed to Australia

Stuart Allison, SVP Asia Pacific, Europe and the UK, said the full-time deployment of a ship the size of Crown Princess reflects Princess’ continuing commitment to the Australian market.

‘As the biggest Princess ship ever based in Australia year round, Crown Princess’ capacity is 50% more than any other Princess ship based in our waters,’ Allison said.

‘With almost 900 of her staterooms featuring private balconies, Crown Princess will give more Australians the chance to cruise in style.’
