Crystal took these actions one month after signaling it was reviewing the two itineraries on safety concerns about transiting the Red Sea.

Crystal Serenity is on a 142-day world cruise that departed Miami Jan. 18. The ship is currently in the South Pacific and had been scheduled to transit the Red Sea in late April. The company didn't detail the new itinerary but said the changes will not affect the overall voyage length, and Crystal Serenity is still due to arrive back in Miami June 8.

Passengers on the impacted cruises are being notified.
