Crystal charts five multi-week 'Grand Journeys' in 2025

During 2025, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony will offer a selection of extended voyages with longer port stays, overnight stops and optional overland experiences designed by Abercrombie & Kent.

These 'Grand Journeys' range from discovering Northern Europe’s famous white nights to exploring Africa and Asia’s diverse cultures.

Crystal said its collaboration with A&K will provide access to the hidden facets of some of the world's most coveted destinations, along with exclusive events curated by regional experts.

Round-trip Mumbai

Crystal Symphony's 70-night round-trip Mumbai journey, departing Jan. 7, 2025, weaves through Asia, visiting 32 destinations in 15 countries. The ship will overnight at Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo. Other highlights include Ha Long Bay, South Korea and Brunei.

Round-trip Singapore

On Jan. 18, Crystal Symphony embarks on a 47-night round-trip Singapore voyage with overnights at Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai and Singapore. Among the other destinations are Taiwan, Ko Samui and Ha Long Bay.

Rio de Janeiro to Mumbai

This 44-night Crystal Serenity cruise begins March 5 at Rio de Janeiro with a private event during Carnival. Sea days follow with a stop at remote St. Helena en route to Namibia for an overnight in Walvis Bay and a concert in the desert. The ship continues to Cape Town, then sails to Zanzibar, Mombasa, the Seychelles, Maldives and Sri Lanka, before arriving at Mumbai.

Cape Town to Barcelona

A 51-night voyage embarking Crystal Serenity at Cape Town March 20 picks up the later part of the Rio to Mumbai voyage with an overnight at Mumbai before venturing through the Middle East to Jordan (for Petra) and Egypt. Crystal Serenity continues on to Athens, Sicily and mainland Italy, before the cruise ends at Barcelona.

Stockholm to Liverpool

On July 29, Crystal Serenity begins a 40-night journey where passengers experience Northern Europe’s long white nights. It starts with an overnight in Stockholm, then continues to Tallinn, Visby, Riga, Copenhagen, Kristiansand, the Shetland and Orkney Isles, Iceland and Norway's North Cape. An overnight at Amsterdam precedes calls in England, ending at Liverpool.

Grand Journeys benefits

Passengers get two one-day A&K experiences, business class airfare allowance or credit for the first two passengers, up to $1,500 on-board credit, private transfers, free laundry service and free first visit/medical consultation.

Crystal Society members receive 5% early bird savings when booking before Jan. 12, 2024, or 2.5% savings for bookings thereafter.
