As vp marketing and sales for Crystal Yacht Cruises, veteran cruise executive Helen Panagos is responsible for Crystal Esprit, the 62-pasenger yacht that begins sailing in late December as the first manifestation of Crystal Cruises' expanded luxury portfolio.

Panagos also will play a role in the marketing of other special branded projects for Crystal. Based in the company's Miami branch office, she reports to Carmen Roig, svp marketing and sales.

With more than 30 years in the cruise industry, Panagos has a 'great propensity for all areas of the business, making her the perfect fit to lead the very first phase in Crystal’s growing portfolio,' according to Edie Rodriguez, president and ceo of Crystal Cruises.

In addition to a strong cruise product development background, Panagos is well-versed in sales, passenger service and partnerships.

Recent experience includes director of global product development for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s Global Tour Operations group. Earlier she was director of guest relations and shared services at Celebrity Cruises.

Prevously Panagos had a long tenure as vp shoreside operations at Seabourn and Cunard in Miami.
