The group director for the cruise portfolio at UBM and general manager of Seatrade was referring to an official name change and rebranding of the 31-year-old annual cruise industry conference and exhibition, effective immediately, to Seatrade Cruise Global. The change reflects the 2014 merger of UBM and Seatrade Communications Ltd.

Williams also announced that due to a planned renovation of the Miami Beach Convention Center, in 2016 Seatrade Cruise Global will move to the Broward Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale through 2019.

UBM’s portfolio of cruise events now includes Seatrade Caribbean Cruise Forum in Tobago May 13-14, 2015; Seatrade Cruise Asia, at Busan, Korea, June 11-12, 2015; Seatrade Cruise Global, set for March 14-17, 2016; and Seatrade Cruise Med in 2016.
