Elisabetta de Nardo is leaving Costa Cruises and will join Silversea Cruises as port operations director, commencing June 16.

The Silversea fleet comprises eight luxury vessels, including three expedition ships, sailing worldwide to over 450 destinations.

De Nardo joined Costa as port operations manager seven years ago after a spell working in the tanker and dry bulk sectors, having attained a degree in Shipping & Maritime Transport Economics and a master in cargo marine surveying (London).

She was promoted to port operations and development director for Costa and Iberocruceros in 2012 and represented Costa in CLIA’s Europe Ports Subcommittee and the Italian Shipowners Association.

Nicoletta Puppo is heading up port operations and port and destination management for Costa and Iberocruises, reporting to Roberto Ferrarini, vp port and destination management, encompassing port operations and shore excursions.

Port co-ordination responsibilities at Costa and Iberocruises are split between Susanna Illiano, looking after the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Red Sea and Arabian Gulf, and Nadia Casella, looking after North Europe, the Far East, Indian Ocean and South America.
