Port of Dover hosted three ships at its historic Western Docks on Monday - the first time the cruise facilities have been at full capacity since 2016.

Plantours' Hamburg and AIDA Cruises' AIDASol both made a return to the UK port and the inaugural call from Viking's Viking Sun was greeted by a water salute from the harbour tugs.

Port of Dover head of cruise, Sonia Limbrick said: 'Dover, one of the businest cruise ports in the UK is the port of choice for 22 cruise lines and will host 124 cruise calls, including six inaugural calls this year.'
