Bookings on World Dream in Singapore have reportedly been suspended until further notice
Dream Cruises on Friday suspended bookings for Singapore-based World Dream until further notice, according to a local report.

Singapore's Today also reported that Genting Hong Kong intends to continue operating Dream Cruises in the region, citing a statement from the company.

'However, new bookings for World Dream will remain suspended from Feb. 4 until further notice as the joint provisional liquidators continue to explore the state of business and to identify, examine and explore the options available to them in respect of the company’s future business,' the statement said, according to Today.

Bermuda hearing

A hearing was scheduled today in Bermuda about the proposed joint provisional liquidators.

In filing to wind up its Dream Cruises division a week ago, Genting Hong Kong made the case that a consensual restructuring would 'present higher recoveries to all creditors and stakeholders compared to a value-destructive liquidation of the Dream Sub-Group.'

Dream Cruises also fields Explorer Dream from Taiwan and Genting Dream from Hong Kong.
